kind of a simple question for a more complex matter - i guess it depends what you mean by 'ceremony'? What is a wedding supposed to be all about, anyway?
Is it only about two people?
Or is it about a community, and two families coming together?
Sorry, the "I don't think so" links over to my Twisted Christian blog where I delved into it a little deeper. I didn't really address your questions though, Dave. I didn't really identify what constitutes a "ceremony." If you haven't read what I wrote over there, check it out and let me know your thoughts. http://twistedchristian.ca
I'm a bass playing, bowhunting, husband and father, that enjoys gardening, his wife and life in Winnipeg. I am an IT guy by day, but wish I was a pastor (which I will one day be)
I also have another blog, TwistedChristian.ca where I write about life as a Christian that doesn't quite fit the standard mold.

Um..I hope not :D 'cause although we were married by a minister it really wasn't a Christian ceremony per se.
